About the Founder
Don Jacques has dedicated his entire life to the construction and manufacturing industry. From a young age, he found himself immersed in the world of tools, fixing equipment for the company his father worked for. As he grew older, Don's entrepreneurial spirit drove him to establish multiple companies, taking them from startup ventures to highly successful businesses generating six, seven, and even eight-figure revenues.
Through his extensive career, Don experienced firsthand the challenges of startups and weathered the storms of economic recessions. However, his resilience and passion for business led him to master various positions, ultimately deciding to embark on a new path as an entrepreneur.
With over 2 decades of entrepreneurial experience, Don understands the immense difficulties involved in running and growing a business. This realization struck him when he discovered that a staggering 80% of businesses listed for sale fail to find buyers, not to mention the countless business owners who don't even attempt to sell their companies. Determined to make a difference, Don set out to find a better way.
Now, he leverages his wealth of experience to focus on investing in and mentoring businesses and their owners. His primary focus lies in acquiring businesses, driven by a deep concern for the loss of great enterprises and legacies that lack a reasonable transition plan, resulting in job insecurity for loyal employees.
Don firmly believes that the success of these businesses lies in the dedication and talent of their exceptional employees. Therefore, his mission is to seek out these exceptional legacies and ensure their continuity for many years to come.
